Food & Wine of Campania with Rosa Matto & David Crossman
Join SA food identity Rosa Matto and WEA wine tutor David Crossman for a special Adelaide Fringe session celebrating the food, wine and culture of Campania. Expect sunshine, citrus and grapes as we explore one of Italy’s most familiar regions, shaped by ancient Greek and Roman traditions and icons such as Pompeii and Naples.
Taste classic wines including Greco, Fiano and Aglianico, made from grape varieties with origins stretching back over 2,000 years.
Discover how “new world” ingredients like tomatoes, chocolate and potatoes transformed Italian cuisine, before finishing with modern twists on traditional desserts.
Along the way, enjoy stories, songs, images and personal reflections from Rosa’s heritage and family.
Ticket includes wine tasting.
For questions about the cooking session, please contact enrolments@wea-sa.com.au, or phone (08) 8223 1979. Companion Card tickets receive entrance to the show only.
