Favourite Worst Tribute (Arctic Monkeys Tribute feat. Favourite Worst Nightmare Era)
Fluorescent Adolescents pay homage to the era of Arctic Monkeys' second album Favourite Worst Nightmare, performed live and in its entirety by Australia's premier Arctic Monkeys tribute.
Favourite Worst Nightmare saw the band maturing from the raw and frenetic indie sound of their debut era to develop a layered, poetic, sound that has since defined their work.
Featuring high energy hits such as long-time set-opener Brianstorm, D is for Dangerous, and building from Teddy Picker and Do Me a Favour to the crescendo of 505. Plus, expect all the deep-cuts and B-sides of that era to greet you like a naughty friend.
Do yourself a favour, and don't miss this epic night of British indie-rock!
"Fluorescent Adolescents recreate both the sound and look of the [Arctic Monkeys]" - The Advertiser, 2023
Presented by: Fluorescent Adolescents
Fluorescent Adolescents are Australia's premier Arctic Monkeys tribute band.
Zak Taylor (Vocals/Guitar), Robert May (Guitar/Keys), Chris Kelly (Bass) and Oscar Svendsen (Drums) have perfected a show that is as close to the real deal as possible. Whether it be capturing Alex Turner's suave magnetism, Matt Helder's furious beats, Nick O'Malley's complex bass lines or Jamie Cook's beautiful lead tones, FA have reflect it all to perfection. The look; the gear; the sound and the show.
FA have played sold out shows at Adelaide's best venues including the Jade, the Ark, Lion Arts and the iconic Gov as well as interstate shows at the imitable Espy. FA provide an authentic tribute to one of the greatest bands of the last 20 years.
Don't believe the hype. See them in the flesh.
