Fallot (FÄ-'LŌ)

Circus
The heart is in control. Every moment signals generated by its rhythm determine our emotional experience. Do we notice? Circus artist Marianna Joslin was born with a rare heart condition, that went undiagnosed for six years. Cut open, sewn back together, transplanted and transformed. This is an ensemble exploration of our heart, through circus. Modern acrobatics with a life affirming beat.

"These guys and girls are sure of themselves, doing things with their bodies most of us couldn't even dream of" - The Advetiser

"Joslin exudes confidence and quirkiness, her show toes the line between madness and genius" - The Music

"McGuffin and Carberry have unveiled & staged these insane and award-winning shows. Which also belong to the fantastic ensemble" - Berliner Morgenpost "Fallot challenged my expectations. While I had believed the show would be an emotional, perhaps demanding, piece of storytelling, Fallot turned out to be a delight. It twisted and turned between the surreal and dreamlike to the everyday and playful. There was huge potential in this work to display how creatives can handle a subject of personal gravitas without reneging on their firm self-belief as entertainers" -Tom Pritchard   "Fallot doesn't just have heart - its got legs! This show should tour far and wide. Its moody dynamic look and sound is an edgy setting to incredible circus that seemlessly plays through the characters and real life storytelling.  A deeply personal and inspiring tale told with defiance, flair, rumble, tumble and song.  I heart Fallot" - Sam Tracy    "Raw and beautiful! I've known Marianna for a long time and I've never seen her look vulnerable before (at all). I really connected with the story, having been through a similar (yet very different) trauma of my own. The show depicted the experience so powerfully let gently at the same time.   I especially connected with the message and the choice of how to move forward from trauma, holding on to a story and letting it define you, or taking the lessons and moving on. Or a combination of all! I was inspired to maybe shave my head to expose my own surgical scars !" -Emily Jones  "It were stunning, weird, unsettling, abstract, thrilling, vulnerable, brave, complex - everything you’d expect from a Company 2 Show. Chelsea McGuffin genius at it again! With help from David Carberry,  Casey Douglas, Phoebe Armstrong - back on stage! Yes! And of course the irrepressible Marianna Joslin. Thank you for the art, the beauty, the bravery" #bestestcurcusinstrayarightno -Simone O'Brien
