Exhibition and Sale of Mediaeval Manuscripts

A curated exhibition and sale of exquisite mediaeval illuminated manuscripts on vellum, including leaves from Books of Hours, Gregorian Chants and Antiphonals, from the 13th century to the 19th century. Presented by Dominique Schmidt.

After forty years of travel, adventure and research in India, Australia, Thailand and Indonesia, Dominique Schmidt returned to his native France and has and settled in the Cévennes with his partner Angélique. Their picturesque farmhouse, le Pereyrol, is situated in 42 hectare of forest near the Parc national des Cévennes. There he pursues his interests in mediaeval manuscripts and the spiritual writings of Sri Aurobindo.
