Escaping The Burning Sun: A Play With Two Endings
In a world where everyone lives forever, why are people dying?

This sci-fi, dystopian-drama dissects what it means to live and die, and how tyrannical regulation on life itself has catastrophic consequences. 'Choice' is questioned. And you have the power to choose between two endings...

15-year-old orphan Sagan Page has just gotten accustomed to her new life at Astra Orphanage after 8 years. 8 years ago, she lost her parents to 'The Qualifications'; a nightly draw of 'random' civilians who must board a space-pod to fly into the sun and perish. This is the solution to overpopulation. And overpopulation is a big problem when people live forever.

But, an even bigger problem? Finding yourself on one of these pods.
