Embers

How deep must love be to bear the weight of life and death intertwined?

Embers draws inspiration from a true story, unfolding through the eloquent language of dance as it poses twelve profound inquiries into existence. This work centers on the flourishing pinnacle sustained by love, confronting the decay and disintegration that life imposes. It engages a dialectic of light and shadow, tilt and endurance, exploring the fragile balance of being.

In this poignant narrative, Embers weaves a fable of rebirth—a body and soul consumed by flames, rising anew from the ashes of love’s enduring warmth. It invites reflection on life’s complexity, inevitable loss, and the transformative power of love that endures through darkness toward renewal.
