After belting out tunes in the privacy of her shower in her early twenties, Em auditioned for Australian Idol. She made the Top 10 finalists during the show’s hugely popular second season, and showed she had more to offer than solely as a singer.
Em has since broadened her reach massively with her legion of Facebook fans, No 1 Podcast and huge live shows - the latest (Em Rusciano is NOT a Diva) saw Em play to sold out theatre and festival audiences across Australia.
In June 2016 Em returned to the Hit Network to host her own weekly 2 hour national radio show, The Em Rusciano Radio Show, promising and delivering the most honest conversations on radio. Em’s first book - her memoir ‘Try Hard’ has not yet been released at time of writing but is heavily tipped to be a best-seller, having gone straight to number 1 on the iTunes biography charts on pre-sales alone.
