Darius Emadi is a Polish/Iranian American clown based out of New York City. A graduate of the renowned École Philippe Gaulier in France, Darius discovered his unique style of performing and comedy under the guidance of master clown Philippe Gaulier from 2016 to 2018. Known for his energetic, subversive performances that blend physical theatre, improvisation, and joyful absurdity, Darius creates beautifully bizarre, alive shows that push the boundaries of conventional comedy. His work has been showcased at major festivals across the globe, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brighton Fringe Festival, Norway Clown Festival, Oslo Humorfest, Tampere Clown Festival, and Off Hedda (Oslo), with tours spanning Norway, the UK, France, and the US.
