Red Tide, formerly Sounds of Chile, is an Adelaide-based eight-piece Latin American band celebrated for bringing vibrant, authentic music to diverse audiences across South Australia and beyond. Drawing on a rich heritage of Latin American rhythms, the group fuses traditional styles with contemporary arrangements to create emotionally resonant and visually engaging performances. Over the years, Red Tide has captivated audiences with dynamic shows celebrating Latin American culture, including their acclaimed Adelaide Fringe 2025 production Tearing Down Pinochet. Committed to connecting multicultural and multigenerational audiences, Red Tide combines storytelling, visuals, and live performance to share the passion, romance, and cultural richness of Latin American music.
