Cyclops: A Satyr Play

“The Cyclops”, Euripides’ only surviving Satyr Play, is incomplete, half-translatable, and reads like someone trying to remember The Odyssey after downing a whole bottle of ouzo. So that’s exactly what this Satyr is going to do.

This is not a Greek play, this is an interactive, queer, techno-pop fever dream of the night before - karaoke, drunk texts, bar fights and all. It asks the important questions like “What if a goat and a man had a child?” and “How did a goat and a man have a child?”

Every day, people choose between feeding the monster or saving the stranger - but this Satyr refuses to pick. He’s going to make you do it.
