Comfort Zone
Step outside your comfort zone and rediscover your hometown in this hands-on visual arts workshop with Saskia & Shadow.
Comfort Zone invites artists of all levels to explore mixed media techniques, transforming 2D works into dynamic 3D creations. Guided by reflection on textures, colours, and local stories, participants will reimagine familiar landmarks, memories, and hidden corners of home. Push creative boundaries and uncover new perspectives of place and belonging.
Artworks created will feature in the first Waikerie Pocket Galleries exhibition — celebrating artistic innovation and the spirit of our region.
Create, connect, and see your hometown anew — one layer at a time.
All other materials are provided, but participants are required to bring: - x1 complete/dry A4 artwork (to be cut up!) - x1 photo/image of an important Waikerie memory for them
Presented by: District Council of Loxton Waikerie
