After a sold out season in 2019, Ukulele Death Squad will once again celebrate the career of Australian musical legends, Nick Cave And the Bad Seeds. The Squad will do justice to a whole new set with hits such as Red Right Hand, Ship Song, Henry Lee, Into my Arms, Stagger Lee and more. Joining them will be a cast of Adelaide's finest musical talent.

Inspired, after being invited by Author and Illustrator Reinhard Kleist, to perform at the launch of his book titled: Mercy On Me (in collaboration with Nick Cave), a graphic novel, employing a cast of characters drawn from Cave's music and writing, at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. The Squad decided to bring their set, consisting entirely of Nick Cave songs, back to Adelaide to perform exclusively at the Adelaide Fringe 2021.

Presented by: Ukulele Death Squad

The Ukulele Death Squad strives to entertain and wow their audiences by pushing the boundaries of the small four stringed instrument– the Ukulele.

Exploding onto the scene in February 2017 at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, they blend their own ukulele style with Flamenco, Mexican, rap and Folk, with an energetic performance that goes beyond anything audiences have ever seen. The Death Squad have already managed to achieve sold-out Adelaide & Edinburgh Fringe Festival Seasons in 2017/2018/2019/2020. Also taking out “Best Music Act” of the whole 2018 Adelaide Fringe and winning best "Folk Act" at the SA Music Awards.. The UDS will warp your perceptions of ukuleles one nylon string at a time With stage-craft, mad thumping rhythms and outrageous solos, they will quite literally blow you away
