Come and Try Square Dancing at The WEA
Grab a partner (or come solo) and step into the joyful world of square dancing at the WEA.
This beginner-friendly session introduces a fun, social folk dance for four couples arranged in a square, guided by a caller who cues each move to the music.
You’ll learn simple steps, work together as a team and enjoy the rhythm as traditional tunes mix with unexpected modern tracks.
Square dancing is often described as “friendship set to music” because it's lively, inclusive and full of laughs.
No experience needed, just a willingness to join in and have fun.
