In a world made from imagination, reclaimed fabric, and found objects, Pico and the Golden Lagoon follows Pico, a curious young adventurer on a journey to uncover a glowing, mythical place — and along the way, she meets creatures, faces challenges, and discovers that nature has its own kind of magic.
With handmade puppets, a live musical score, and a message of wonder, courage, and environmental connection, this 45-minute performance enchants audiences both young and old while introducing themes of sustainability and the importance of forging new friendships.

Pico’s Puppet Palace, founded in 2016 by Sally Miller and Jesse Hamilton, creates captivating puppet shows using reclaimed, recycled, and repurposed materials. Each performance follows Pico’s adventures while exploring environmental and ecological themes. Their repertoire includes hand and rod puppets, full-body puppets, shadow puppetry, and mechanical sculptures. Touring nationally and internationally, the company combines puppetry, live music, and storytelling. They have performed across Canada, Australia, and Indonesia, including a residency at Papermoon Puppet Theatre and Pesta Boneka – Seeds of Hope.Social media
