Adelaide Fringe 2022

CANCELLED - 19: A Reporter's War

19: A Reporter's War weaves together the stories of three very different people, whose lives are brought together in the last days of the Vietnam War - Hugh Lunn, the Australian Reuter's reporter; Dinh, the Saigon Reuters Office Manager; and the Australian soldier who is the subject of John Schumann's song, I Was Only 19. The song features prominently as does an evocative soundscape composed for the play by Charli Holoubek. Written and directed by Bob Becker, the play incorporates stylised physical theatre to underscore the message.

"It was very moving - the lighting and soundscape were great" John Schumann

"Absolutely loved the staging, lighting, music and atmosphere" Hugh Lunn
