Bossa de Novo
Bossa Again! Soak up the seductive sounds of Rio in the Sixties. Shelley Dunstone and her friend Enéias Raasch visiting (again) from Brazil will perform classic Bossa Nova and Brazilian popular music, plus original songs by Enéias (with lyrics in English by Shelley). Guitar by Enéias and vocals by Shelley.
Enéias Raasch will unfortunately be unable to visit Adelaide for Fringe 2024. Shelley will instead be accompanied by Brazilian-born guitarist Daniel Gosling. Enéias sends his apologies and hopes to perform here later in the year.

Shelley Dunstone is an Adelaide cabaret performer who has a particular affection for Brazilian music from the 1960's. In October 2016 Shelley travelled to Brazil and performed with Brazilian guitarist Enéias Raasch at the iconic nightclub venue "Beco das Garrafas" ("Bottles Alley") in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This was the top place for Bossa Nova artists to perform in the 1960s.
In the 2015 Adelaide Fringe Festival, Shelley presented "Non-Stop From Brazil" with Enéias, and in August 2015 she performed with him in his home town, Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil, in a show called "Australia e Brasil com Bossa".
Shelley and Enéias performed together in Brazil again in 2023.
