Following sell-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe Scottish performer Morna Burdon brings her inspiring one woman show to Adelaide. Packed with international stories and songs of women whose bravery, inventiveness and human spirit have stood up to injustice and oppression over continents & centuries. 

The show journeys from Vietnam to Massachusetts; from medieval witch-killings to Zero Tolerance; from a 19th century Syrian refugee to the young Suffragette who played bagpipes outside prison gates and the photographer who rode horseback in Mongolia to record women’s lives.

Morna Burdon is a director, performer, writer and singer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has toured extensively and has worked with a range of international artists from throughout the UK, Europe and Africa. She has also worked professionally in Milan, Venice, Dublin, Hamburg, Prague and Denmark. Her work has ranged from directing large-scale international projects incorporating trapeze and fire-swinging to performing anywhere from libraries to pubs to Glastonbury Festival.
