Banned Book Club Launch with Prohibition Liquor Co

South Australia
We're celebrating the books that have been banned, burned and blacklisted around the world with none other than Prohibition Liquor Co! Dive into the stories behind the scandals and enjoy a gin and tonic on the balcony, with live tunes courtesy of award-winning folk pop sensation Naomi Keyte (who to our knowledge has never been banned, but writes a damn good song).

Presented by: Prospect Library

About Prospect Library:
Located in the heart of Prospect Road, the newly opened Prospect Library at Payinthi offers a diverse range of services, programs, workshops and events for the community.

About Prohibition Liquor Co:
With the introduction of prohibition in 1920, a shadowy, underground industry sprang into existence. Gin was the liquor of choice. Produced by clandestine, bootleg spirit makers. One hundred years later, their spirit lives on at the Prohibition Liquor Co. But while our small-batch craftsmanship may echo that of the bootleggers, our artisan philosophy and obsession with only the world’s finest botanicals result in an altogether more sophisticated and premium end result.

About Naomi Keyte:
Naomi Keyte is an award-winning folk pop singer-songwriter based in Adelaide.
