An Evening of Sacred Jazz & New Orleans Swing

Melbourne-based clarinettist Jon Hunt joins Adelaide music polymath Julian Ferraretto and a talented local band for an evening of New Orleans Swing, where improvisation lives and the groove never stops. Set in the St Peter's Cathedral – Cynthia Poulton Hall, these two great artists anchor a sound that is as much about conversation as it is about composition.

Special Note: Before the concert, at 6pm, don’t miss a FREE church service of Jazz Vespers in the St Peter’s Cathedral, with the first Australian performance of a unique musical setting by Julian Ferraretto. This service is open to all and promises a soulful introduction to the evening’s music.
