About this event

Join powerhouse duo Amelia Ryan and Libby O'Donovan for a loud, proud, racuous celebration of our original Australian Pop & Rock Divas. In both a 'vibrant and vital' (Advertiser) exploration of life in the 1960s, hear the thoroughly entertaining stories and songs that blazed the trails for generations of women to come. With music from Lynne Randell, Little Patti, Judy Stone, Marcie Jones, Wendy Saddington, Margret Roadknight, and more, it's an uplifting homage that brings these incredible 60s Singers into their rightful place in Australian music history!

★★★★★ "The playlist is amazing, the story engaging, inspiring and sometimes breathtaking and the talent is world-class" Glam Adelaide.
★★★★ "Sharp wit, blended with powerful performances made this an outstanding event" Clothesline Review

Presented by:
Release Creative

After growing up in the South Australian countryside, director/producer, Zac Tyler and soprano/producer Ruth Blythman founded Release Creative in 2013.

The Company's quest is to give life to new ideas, reorganise one's imagination and educate and connect artists.

Zac and Ruth share the stance that arts and culture is at the very heart of reinventing society.

"We believe that we have to create new artistic repertoire to contribute to a global society in transition. In creating new work which engages with and is presented to the public we are fostering a more inclusive society."

Previous work includes: Disco Wonderland with the ASO and WASO, Sven Ratke - Starman, 27 Club and Amelia Ryan is A Storm In A D Cup.
