AFRO-OZ MUSICA is a unique mix of great Adelaide musicians who bring a fusion of African and Australian flavours to the stage. With members coming from Zimbabwe, South Sudan, South Africa, Kenya, Congo, Nigeria, Uganda and Thursday Island in the Torres Straits - their irresistible performances have their audiences up dancing and asking for more….
Performances include festivals, events and special projects – including Adelaide’s Multicultural Festival, the Zimbabwean Independence Day in Melbourne, and the Adelaide Fringe Festivals. Afro-Oz Musica was an integral part of the exciting SHARING THE BEAT events, which were delivered by Kurruru Youth Performing Arts at the Nexus Cabaret Theatre - bringing together African and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians.
