Scaled tash york
If you've ever been engaged at 19 or racked up parking fines worth a house deposit, than like Tash York you've probably not mastered "Adulting".

'Adulting' is the process of doing 'grown-up' things. Things like holding down a job, paying your bills on time, cooking dinner (that doesn't involve Maccas drive-thru) and even doing your taxes. Known for her ballsy voice, witty repartee and wine loving antics, award-winning cabaret artist Tash York (The Desperettes, The After Hours Cabaret Club) explains why we can all relate - growing up is hard!

FRINGE WORLD Runner Up Best Cabaret 2016 : These Things Take Wine
★★★★★ 'York is a true talent audiences are lucky to experience' - Theatre People
★★★★1/2 'Tash is captivating, extremely talented and will immerse you in her musical world' - Beat Mag

Presented by:
NY Entertainment.

With her wine loving antics and witty repartee Tash York is a singer, improviser, cabaret performer, MC and….. balloon twister! Known for her ballsy voice, dynamic energy and an uncanny ability to rap on command, Tash “is a phenomenal performer, charismatic and courageous”(Theatre People).

The master of bawdy fun, she has received huge success touring with her award winning comedy cabaret "These Things Take Wine" which was runner up for Best Cabaret at Fringe World 2016. She has created and performs as part of the pink beehived trio The Desperettes who were a cult hit at Adelaide Fringe 2017 with their show “A Guide to Being a Wingman."

Tash has sold-out audiences at Perth Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne & Ballarat Cabaret Festivals and Brisbane Powerhouse.

Venue

Gluttony

Gluttony is a vibrant outdoor hub - a festival within a festival at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Full of beautiful tent venues, bars, awesome food vendors, and a relaxed space for sitting and having a glass of wine before a show, Gluttony has gone from strength to strength, growing each year whilst still maintaining an intimate atmosphere for punters and artists alike. We have a prime position on the corner of East Terrace and Rundle Street, across from the Garden and adjoining the Fringe Club. As Gluttony’s directors, we maintain a strong focus on working with our artists to get the best results we can for them. We are interested in long-term, collaborative and healthy relationships with producers and artists so that we can continue to grow great results together for years to come. Gluttony’s popularity is growing annually, and we always invest back into the hub.
