The 'Adelaide Comedy Gala' has graced the Adelaide Fringe for the past 16 years and is returning to Adelaide's favourite comedy venue in 2025 - The Arkaba Hotel!
Hosting a multitude of amazingly hilarious and selfless comedians who donate their time and talents to raise funds and awareness for the Sammy D Foundation. Previous lines ups have included: Rove McManus, Hans, Fiona O'Loughlin, Peter Helliar, Ivan Aristeguieta, Tom Gleeson, Hans, Dilruk and Arj Barker! The life of 17 year-old Sam Davis was tragically cut short when he fell victim to a violent one punch assault. The Sammy D Foundation was formed in his legacy with the aim of providing information, knowledge and tools to young people in order to prevent such a tragedy from happening again.
To date the Sammy D Foundation have educated over 280,000 young people about the impacts of violence and the risks associated with alcohol and other drug misuse, and provided 1:1 mentoring support to over 600 young people in South Australia.
