A Woman On The Edge

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Musical Theatre

Claire Dawson redefines the one-woman musical in this multimedia tour-de-force!
As if careering towards middle age from the wrong direction weren’t enough, how did she also end up in Tasmania with a gun in her hand and a dead husband at her feet? To find the answer, our slightly shop-soiled heroine sings up a storm as she stampedes her way through a spirited journey of self-discovery.

Along the way, she plays her own backing group and a host of other characters via continuous video backgrounds.
A funny and moving script by Rod Anderson explores being that person on the outside of life looking in and includes songs by Claire as well as some great diva classics. The whole show provides an ideal vehicle for this multi-talented performer to display her remarkable voice, comedic talent, warmth, and insight.

Critics say, "A laugh out loud show delivered with wit, great musicality and a hugely generous performance from Dawson."
Finding yourself has never been funnier or more uplifting!
