This show belongs to the Adelaide Fringe 2026 season. This season is now over.

A sunny day with Lumina singers dressed in coloured tops, black trousers and skirts, standing and sitting under leafy crepe myrtles on vibrant green lawns.
Lumina Singers performing on the stage of the Adelaide Town Hall against the backdrop of the gilded pipes and the amber tones of the ornate wooden casework of the great pipe organ.
Members of Lumina grouped on the steps of St Peter's Cathedral, with stone walls either side, the pillars and gothic arches of the entrance doors behind the group.

A Song for All Seasons – Music from Around the World

Join Lumina for an exciting program of choral music evoking wind, rain, drought and tempest. From seasons of the year to seasons of life, hear music from diverse cultures including Māori, Finland, China, Estonia, and Africa.

Works will include the powerful Lyke Wake Dirge from Yorkshire, a Namibian song of friendship, a Swedish song welcoming the spring, a twirling piece about wind from Latvia, a lament on drought by Lumina's Anna Pope, and a song about rain from SA's Jodie O’Regan.

Two great venues to choose from. We’ll be taking our show north to the beautiful acoustic of the Gawler Institute. Or if you prefer there’ll be two opportunities to hear us in the gorgeous St John’s church on Halifax St. Don’t miss this program being prepared especially for the 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
