A Journey to Little Happiness - An Original Musical
A group of friends reunite at their secret hideout to fulfill a promise that they made when they were kids. As they relive memories of their childhood in Taiwan, they uncover misunderstandings that have lingered for years. The audience helps them choose what games to play and stories to recall, from playing hopscotch, tossing bean bags and kick-the-can to singing rhymes and remembering their favorite toys. In revisiting their childhood, they come to understand the changes of growing up and the value of what they’ve lost, how to appreciate the present and accept their differences. In the end, they leave behind their past misunderstandings, share their hopes and feelings with each other and the audience, and plan to meet again in the future.
