432 Hz - Elsewhere in India
India, 2069. Digital communication is dead. One sonic rebellion survives: the 432 Hz pirate radio station.
Join pioneering Indian artists Murthovic & Thiruda for a live cinema performance set in a post-cyberpunk future. This immersive journey blends live post-raga electronica with stunning visuals from 3D video games, generative AI art, and path-breaking remixes of colonial films from the British Film Institute's archives.
A psychedelic adventure to preserve South Asian heritage in a world afflicted by cultural amnesia. Featuring anaglyph 3D sequences seen through retro red-blue glasses, this is a hopeful act of decolonial world-building. From the artists selected for London Film Festival and CPH:DOX, experience a future where deep listening is the most powerful form of rebellion.

Elsewhere in India is a transmedia collective led by pioneering Indian artists Murthovic & Thiruda. They are at the forefront of the 'IndoFuturism' movement , crafting immersive worlds that bridge India's rich cultural past with speculative futures. Murthovic (Sri Rama Murthy) is an electronic music composer with two decades of experience , while Thiruda (Avinash Kumar) is a media artist and creative director known for shaping India's live visuals scene. Using game engines, AI, and motion capture , their work questions the nature of identity and cultural preservation in our digital age. Their projects have been showcased globally at prestigious venues, including the BFI London Film Festival, CPH:DOX , Barbican and ACMI. They have performed at Adelaide Fringe 2023 and 2025.
