2 VIOLINS & 8 STRINGS - CLASSICAL MUSIC GEMS
Romantic, in musicians' parlance, means music of the nineteenth century. People love romantic music, and Marta and Matej of the Adelaide Virtuosi Trio will delight their desires.
Dvořák once wrote to his publisher about his new 'Miniatures' and that he enjoyed composing it like it was a large symphony.
Meanwhile, romanticism in french music was slightly different in characteristic details yet very gentle and slinky. Not many virtuosic hence extravagant and colourful violin duets as Beriot's 'Duos Concertante' were written in history.
Though the named pieces represent the pillars of the concert, the audience can look forward to world-premiere instrumentation of Zeljenka's 'Musica Slovaca', Skoryk's 'Melody' from a famous movie, or Kats-Chernin's Tango in Aussie style.
Come and enjoy it!
Please note: The performance on 11/03 has changed times from 4:00PM to 3:30PM since the Adelaide Fringe Guide was printed
