1 in a Chameleon - Narie Foster

1 in a Chameleon

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Solo show
International • World Premiere

An inspiring comedy about fitting in everywhere but belonging nowhere. As an engineer, an entrepreneur, and a romantic, Narie Foster examines questions like “How do we find our purpose?” “What does freedom feel like?” and “Can I avoid strangers forever?”

A moving and uplifting solo show debut from an award-winning storyteller (The Moth, Generation Women) who has performed standup across New York, London, and Paris, along with a 17-year comedy and peacekeeping residency at her childhood dining table.

Narie was born in New York to Thai and Canadian scientists who balked when she left a successful corporate career (Forbes 30 Under 30) to become a writer and performer. ‘1 in a Chameleon’ helps us uncover our true colors despite the chameleon reasons to hide.

Presented by: Feast & Foster

Narie Foster is a writer, storyteller, and comedian, and she has also been a systems engineer at Cornell University, a management consultant at Bain & Company, a fashion entrepreneur at M.M.LaFleur, a teacher in multiple continents, and an executive coach… mostly on Zoom.
