Returning after sold-out seasons in 2023 and 2024, Red Light District Unleashed proves once again that Adelaide’s cabaret scene is brimming with talent, confidence and creativity.

Inspired by the famous red-light districts of Europe, the show blends burlesque-style allure with high-energy dance, pole, aerial performance and a touch of comedic flair. While the concept suggests something risqué and salacious, the production leans just as heavily into athleticism and choreography as it does sensuality. The performers showcase impressive strength and technical skill, transforming the stage into a playground of gravity-defying aerial moves and seductive cabaret-style dance.

Led by producer and global award-winning pole dancer Carlie Hunter – and owner of Adelaide's The Pole Boutique - the cast also features standout performances from Beatrice Jackson, Emily Raymond, Bridget Rose and Veronica Waite, with hosting by the entertaining Hew Parham. Together they create a show that feels polished, playful and genuinely irresistible.

The lighting design deserves special mention, cleverly used to set the mood and enhance the sensual atmosphere without feeling over the top. Audience participation also added a cheeky, interactive element that kept the energy high and provided some good belly laughs.
