If you reckon you’re ready for a riotous night out, audiences will find themselves up to pussy’s bow with praise for Fountain Lakes: Y2K – this drag parody prequel is an absolute cracker!  These hilarious hornbags on stage delivered an unforgettable performance that had the crowd feeling like we’d cracked open the Baileys and grabbed a box of BBQ Shapes, right back in Fountain Lakes circa 1999.

Every detail, from the snappy dialogue to the dazzling costumes and everything else, effortlessly pulled you into the world, each element perfectly tailored and elevating the experience beyond expectation. Poor old Sharron stole our hearts; our favourite hopeless romantic’s essence was captured perfectly. Even in the background, the audience couldn’t take their eyes off her as she tossed that (very natural) clip-in hair like the tragic diva she is.

Kath? Absolute legend. Her epic perm origin story had the audience in stitches, she owned that ‘do and had everyone howling over her high-maintenance vibes (and honestly, we loved every second).

As for Kimmy, saying she was mesmerising would be an understatement. She’s not just a housewife, she’s an undeniable hornbag!  The audience were in awe as there wasn’t a single moment where she didn’t have everyone on the verge of passing out from laughter. She slayed in that wedding dress, TOTAL Y2K glam, attitude and all.

There wasn’t a single moment the audience wasn’t completely gobsmacked, pure razzle-dazzle from start to finish! Cheeky, glitzy, and absolutely iconic, the show left everyone feeling as if they’d been hit with a glitter cannon, ready to strut right out of Fountain Lakes. Noice, different, and yeah… unusual! Gather your besties, your favourite gays, or any hunk a spunk craving a top-notch laugh and a delicious dose of nostalgia, this show is must see.

Pour a cheeky cardonnay and leg it to the Spiegeltent,  this riot’s wrapping up, so don’t be a drongo, grab your tickets before it’s all over!
