What can I say? Fuccbois: Live in Concert was truly something I wasn’t expecting—in the best way possible! From start to finish, I couldn’t stop laughing. The experience began the moment I walked in, with the “manager” already in character, interacting with the crowd and hyping everyone up before the boys even hit the stage. It immediately set the tone for what was to come.
From the costumes to the songs to the dance moves, everything gave strong ‘90s nostalgia. The energy felt reminiscent of iconic boy bands like Backstreet Boys and NSYNC—not that the characters were directly imitating them, but the stage presence and performance quality brought that same electric vibe.
A huge credit to the performers—singing, dancing, and acting all at once is no easy feat, and they made it look effortless. The entire show genuinely felt like attending a full-scale concert at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. The performers were incredibly fit and committed, delivering high-energy routines without missing a beat.
I also loved that female performers played the “boys” on stage—they absolutely nailed it. Each character was exaggerated in a fun, stereotypical “fuccboi” way, but the acting itself was anything but shallow. The nuance was incredible—you could actually see the characters’ thought processes before they delivered their lines, which made everything feel natural and alive rather than scripted. That’s such a difficult skill to master, and it really elevated the entire performance.
The multimedia elements were a fantastic touch too—seeing mock media interviews, fan reactions, and “fangirl” moments added another layer of realism and humor. It truly felt like being at a real concert. Even the use of posters in the front row and the interactive elements made the experience immersive.
One of my favourite running guys was Tyler constantly getting distracted by women in the audience, which would spiral into hilarious, over-the-top ballads. It never got old! And to top it all off, the cast came out at the end to meet fans and take photos—I was lucky enough to be one of them.
Every detail of this show was thoughtfully put together, both on stage and behind the scenes. The themes and songs were relatable whether you’re single or not—because let’s face it, the dating world is tough!
Overall, an amazing production. Huge congratulations to everyone involved—I’d gladly give this show a 5-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
