Shape-shifting comic Tilly Oddy-Black brings her online universe of characters and caricatures live to the Adelaide Fringe stage, in a cleverly constructed and curated hour which proves the reason she has over 1.7 million followers and over 1 billion social media views. Tilly is best known for her hilariously relevant POV videos and eclectic roster of characters, with everyone from the tiniest girl in the world to that coworker who’s in another tax bracket. Tilly’s strong social media presence earned her a 2024 nomination for TikTok Australia’s Comedy Creator of the Year.

With fans in the audience speculating about how she would bring her online world live to the stage, her Adelaide Fringe debut plays a carefully curated show which is part sketch showcase, apart behind-the-brains peek, and wonderfully bubbly chaos. Tilly’s live show is an opportunity to genuinely appreciate her extensive performing arts training and experience in action, without the safety of multiple takes or edits.

Crowd favourites including your feral niece, the Aussie mum who has no idea how the world works these days, the older coworker whose life sounds like hell, the grandma whose love story sounds like a crime; drew cheers as she was stepping into character. Tilly’s use of pre-recorded audio, where she would interact with different versions of herself and her characters, highlights how much craft and thought sits behind the silliness.

With playful audience participation, well-loved tropes, and a steady stream of laughs; Tilly delivers a warm and funny night out.
