Fiery Haired Cabaret Icon Tash York serves a very willing audience all the chaos, charisma and comedy that has kept her in sold out crowds for the last 10 years! Channeling other red headed entertainment legends in a style that is uniquely “Tash” , she takes the audience on a fast paced musical thrill ride that celebrates the heightened lifestyle of those blessed with red hair.

Tash’s frenetic persona is cleverly balanced by the dry persona of her pianist Peppy Smears. Peppy was an amazingly talented independently funny and engaging presence on stage. The chemistry between Tash’s Fiery Redhead and Peppy “Straight Man” amplified the brilliance of both performances. Excellent casting, amazing acting.

I’ve never made a secret of the fact that I’d listen to Tash read a phone book. The woman has Charisma with a capital Tash. Drop Red Gorgeous really is the culmination of all that is good about a Tash York show and I hope she’s really proud of it. The inclusion of Peppy Smears as an active character (and musical accompaniment) elevated the show into one of the best cabaret shows of Fringe.

You need to see this! Tash, Never Change!
