Shake It is a fabulously flamboyant & devilishly debaucherous cabaret curated by the absolutely iconic  Minnie Andrews. The show features a rotating cast of Minnie’s amazing festival friends across circus, burlesque and cabaret and I think watching her get all excited showing off her friends is a huge part of the appeal of a show like this. The warms and excitement is contagious and the audience quickly grabs it with both hands and gets involved. Before too long we are all screaming the tent down and if that’s not the spirit of Fringe, I don’t know what is!

I saw this last night and I’m 100% sure it’s a new cast for the final weekend so I’ll just tell you that the standard of performance was absolutely phenomenal. The acrobats were awe inspiring; the burlesque performers were goddesses (or saints) and oh my gosh Minnie can sing! There was a real joy to the performances that I think made the show a lot of fun. The performers had so much charisma and the energy radiating from the stage was palpable. The show was so enjoyable and engaging. An absolute credit to Minnie and the cast & crew.  The chemistry between the performers and the relationship they were able to quickly build with the audience moved this show from great to exceptional.

Minnie, you are an amazing human and that was an amazing show! Absolute credit to yourself and everyone who took to the stage or supported the production last night.

It was EPIC !

Definitely recommend everyone get tickets for the last weekend of Fringe, I mean if I’m honest I can’t guarantee you wont be fighting me for tickets.

Love your work Minnie! Never Change!
