Primal the Show is a cabaret circus inspired by the raw energy of the animal kingdom. The absolutely world class artists involved in this show use their creative artistry push the boundaries of relationships, perceptions and sexuality. The result is a captivating show that moves at lightning speed and is full of jaw dropping circus, breathtaking dance and there is even time for a cheeky clown!

Primal features a cast genuinely amazing artists! There are dancers who will show you why strong is sexy. Circus performers who can do things that will blow your mind. One of the best vocalists I’ve ever heard and a deeply funny clown.

One of the many things I love about Primal is the way the artistry challenges gender roles and centralises inclusion in their show. This seasons show continued this direction by featuring amazing drag artists, highlighting the female performers for their epic strength and power and  featuring acts that present as aligned with any number of minority groups in their shows. Inclusion feels like part of the fabric of this show (as it should be in all shows). Primal went above and beyond this year by putting together their own access plan to assist disabled people who wanted to get to their show. As a disabled patron, I think this is awesome!

Primal is an absolute roller coaster of a show! It’s jaw dropping, captivating, funny and a little bit naughty. If you like your circuses delivered at lightning speed! This is the show for you!

I could not have loved it more!

You can catch Primal the Show at Gluttony until March 22
