Jenny Tian - When Life Gives You Oranges is a hilarious love child between a killer joke and a humorous tangent (tangerine?). Hosted in the Spiegel Zelt at the Garden of Unearthly Delights, the show brings audiences on a journey through Jenny’s love life, her experience living in America, and the financial burdens of massages.
As a comedian, Jenny’s sharp tongue and bullseye timing are her greatest strengths, paired perfectly with her witty personality and unapologetic sense of self. Audiences can’t help but laugh both at and with her as she dives deep into the realities of dating, firearms with facial recognition, and an oddly good impersonation of a certain orange political leader as a drag queen.
Centred around the perils of a gaslighting ex that charged rent, making breaking up feel more like ending a lease than ending a relationship, Fringe-goers are invited to an hour of laughter and self reflection. The charm of her performance really comes through in how she weaves stories together with both tact and humour. From talking about the fentanyl fold to the impossibility of racism while surfing, she has something for everyone!
Jenny isn’t here to f*ck spiders (a phrase she’s had to explain multiple times to them darned Americans) but she is here as one of the best comedians performing at the Adelaide Fringe. Get your tickets to Jenny Tian - When Life Gives You Oranges now!!!
