Evana De Lune’s Adelaide showcase was everything burlesque should be: glamorous, cheeky, empowering, and outrageously entertaining. With a hand-picked international lineup and a room buzzing with anticipation, the night delivered world-class performances from start to finish.
Hosting duties fell to the unforgettable Tito Bonito, who proved to be just as dazzling with a microphone as he is on stage. As MC, he was phenomenal — every joke landed, his energy kept the crowd engaged, and his playful commentary had the audience in stitches. His line about the audience getting a “courtesy sniff” of costumes tossed our way was a highlight, perfectly capturing the playful chaos of burlesque. His later drag performance — complete with elephant prop, butt tassels, and biting humour about the “Divided States of America” — had me laughing so hard my cheeks hurt.
Evana De Lune herself opened the show in spectacular fashion. Absolutely breathtaking, she commanded the stage with the confidence of someone who truly knows how to work a crowd. Her costumes were phenomenal and her presence undeniable — it’s easy to see why she was awarded Best Burlesque Performer at the 2023 Australian Adult Industry Choice Awards and why she’s often referred to as the “Queen of Burlesque” in Australia. When she returned to close the night, the show reached its glittering climax. Her final costume reveal quite literally took my breath away.
International headliner Jessabelle Thunder from the US was pure magic on stage. Her movement was stunning — fluid, powerful, and mesmerising. Paired with costumes that were just as dazzling as her performance, she held the audience completely captive. As the 2025 Miss Exotic World Queen of Burlesque and ranked the #1 Most Influential Burlesque Performer of 2025, it’s clear why she’s such a celebrated figure in the burlesque world. Her second appearance later in the show, with a more classic jazz-inspired style, was equally phenomenal.
Cierra Bliss truly lives up to her name. Watching her dance felt effortless and enchanting — the kind of performance you could happily watch again and again...... and again and again.
Lily LaRoy brought infectious charm to the stage. Her feather boa introduction was stunning, and the way she used it throughout the act was playful and elegant. Between her stage presence, gorgeous costume, and little giggles of humour woven through the routine, she had the audience smiling from start to finish.
Yvette Santos delivered a performance that was both sexy and magical. There was something almost hypnotic about her presence — I felt completely bewitched watching her.
Basjia’s performance was sensual art. From the moment the tarp appeared, the act felt atmospheric and intimate. The music set a perfect mood, and the moment oil came into play the entire room was captivated. Her strength and muscle definition were incredible — an athlete as much as a performer. I left seriously considering a gym membership.
Roxie Bordeaux was magnetic on stage. Her stunning black dress and incredible headpiece were showstoppers, and she carried herself with an elegance that was impossible to look away from. If she ever wants to loan that dress out, I’m ready to take the call.
And then there was Full Cream Kitty — a plus-size pocket rocket goddess who absolutely owned the stage. Her performance to Barracuda was powerful, fun, and full of attitude. The crowd adored her, and it was impossible not to.
From classic tease to boundary-pushing neo burlesque, the entire cast delivered a sparkling celebration of femininity, fantasy, and self-expression. Evana De Lune has curated something truly special: a night of glamour, humour, and jaw-dropping talent that reminds you exactly why burlesque remains such a thrilling art form.
If this show comes back to Adelaide after this Fringe Season, don’t hesitate. Grab a ticket, settle in, and prepare to be completely seduced.
