Nonna & Yiayia Live On Stage is hands down the best comedy duo show I’ve seen in a very long time. From start to finish, the performance was brilliantly put together and absolutely hilarious — I was laughing the entire night!

Seeing them at the Adelaide Fringe was truly a highlight of the season for me. The chemistry, timing, and energy on stage were outstanding, and the characters were both relatable and unforgettable.

The stage setup and costumes were absolutely on point, and the acting throughout the many segments — especially when playing Nonna and Yiayia — was exceptional. The transitions between scenes were seamless, and every character was brought to life in such a natural and entertaining way.

I also saw James Liotta and George Kapiniaris perform solo pieces within the show — and they absolutely nailed it. They definitely know how to make a serious crowd laugh! Whether performing individually or together, they know exactly how to put on a show. I couldn’t fault a single part of the performance and honestly wished it lasted for hours.

I especially loved how they engaged with the audience — cracking jokes, interacting with the crowd, and even asking people questions about themselves. It made the whole experience feel personal, spontaneous, and even funnier.

A huge shout out to James and George for putting on such an incredible performance. And also, a big shout out to The Founders Restaurant for doing a fantastic job organising the seating arrangements and preparing delicious food. Not many shows offer the experience of enjoying a sit-down meal while watching live comedy — it was the perfect blend of entertainment and dining. I’ll definitely be coming back again just to dine there!

To James and George — I give you five stars for your absolutely hilarious show, and I truly wish I could give you ten!
