Tash York mixes the variety show format with her own special brand of spontaneity, madness and mayhem in Chaos Cabaret.

In Chaos Cabaret, York pits 3 awesome fringe artists against each other in rounds of improv challenges. Once these poor souls get on stage, York’s inner chaos demon takes control of the sound/lighting and whatever else takes her fancy. Before long the place has descended into madness but in an adorably mischievous way.

The result is a show that is hilarious, high energy and absolutely addictive.

York is the perfect host for a show like Chaos Cabaret.  Her natural warmth quickly builds a relationship with the audience,  as a result the crowd was relaxed and engaged from the outset. A great place to start a Cabaret Show!

I love York in this format. She has developed it into a great format to showcase her skills as a world class performer. It’s also quite endearing to see the care she takes in casting and then showcasing the talents of the other artists on her stage.

Tash York has put together an amazing format for a variety show in Chaos Cabaret. I’ve seen it many times and it’s always been high energy, engaging, hilarious and completely mad.

The casting is always brilliant, Tash York always has the audience in the palm of her hand from the second the lights go up. This woman is a Performer capital P and it’s a genuine pleasure to watch her perform.

The show on Tuesday was great, but like I said… they always are!!!

Definitely definitely check this out!!!

This is one of those shows I’d see more than once (if Tash will have me!)

You can catch Chaos Cabaret at Gluttony until the 9th of March
