Tommy Little is life goals as far as I’m concerned.  This is a man who can fully form a thought like I’m going to run in an ice marathon or I’m going to box world champion boxer Tim Tszyu whilst dressed as a kebab and then see that thought through the planning stages and execute that idea.

If you have seen Tommy live before or heard him on the radio you will understand what I mean.

Us mere mortals can have the idea, Tommy does the things. It’s why we love him.

This year, Tommy decided to go on a wellness journey but he took that journey in Tommy way. For the uninitiated this means there was way more danger than one would ordinarily expect, some points of the story would have benefited from being narrated by the mission impossible theme, a first aid kit was required and it almost definitely would have been a better idea to book in for long term therapy.

But long term therapy would not have facilitated such a funny hour so Fk that.

If you like your Tommy when he decides to address his problems in the least sensible way possible this is the show for you. This show is the perfect extrapolation of Tommy’s but “wouldn’t it be funner if we” approach to life. I loved hearing how he applied his very unique way of thinking to a wellness journey this past year.

This show is definitely one for the waterproof mascara. Expect to be laughing. Hard.

Tommy Little is at the Garden until March 8 . I strongly recommend you catch him whilst he’s still in Adelaide.
