Chookas is a show where the absurd, the creative and sick dance beats converge in a genuinely original, intelligent, engaging show. Chicken Cabaret? Don’t even bother trying to guess what you’re walking into, it’s a fool’s errand! And it was kind of funner to get on the roller coaster and enjoy. Poultry in Motion? 

Chookas is one of those shows that’s just fun! The artists are talented cabaret performers in their own right but they also fully commit to the comedic chicken characters which just makes it so much more enjoyable, funny and engaging.

Chookas is conceptually brilliant, excellently choreographed and executed to perfection. It’s one of those shows that’s always going to stand out in your fringe experience, not just this year, all the years. This will be one of the shows you measure “funny” “creative” “original” in other shows you see against. Because Chookas is like nothing you have ever seen before. 

Unfortunately you have missed your chance to see this absolutely genius cabaret in Fringe 2026 but I have it on reasonable authority that they are playing in Melbourne soon so keep an eye out for those dates! 

Definitely get onto tickets !
