If you are looking for a family-friendly Adelaide Fringe show that combines top-shelf magic, acrobatics, juggling and comedy, look no further than London Calling.

Returning to the Adelaide Fringe with a brand-new lineup of acts from Cirque Du Soleil, The Illusionists and Britain’s Got Talent, this is a high-energy hour of family entertainment that brings the best of the Fringe together.

Our host, the incredible illusionist Ben Hart, takes us on a tour of London, meeting different people (or acts) at significant landmarks. Antje Pode’s foot-juggling suitcase routine left the audience questioning everything they know about the laws of gravity. Chelsea Angell’s hoop routine brought a fresh, new look to a staple of circus themed shows. Her command of the apparatus was impressive. Iurii Kharchenko’s routine, seeing him suspended above the audience using a hatstand instead of a pole, is incredible. His command of the hatstand makes it look like he is walking on air. Roberto Carlos brines humour and cheek to London Calling with his juggling routine. He quickly won the audience over with his beaming smile, incredible skill and cheeky personality.

In between each act, Ben Hart wowed the crowd with several mind blowing illusions. There is no question as to why he is one of the world’s most in-demand illusionists. What sets his tricks apart from other illusionists is the stories he weaves around the tricks, adding an extra layer of mystery.

London Calling is a brilliantly constructed variety hour that is perfect for the whole family. It is witty, clever, dazzling. Do yourself a favour and catch it before Fringe ends.
