If you’re heading to this year’s Adelaide Fringe with younger kids, The Big Unicorn Dance Party is an absolute must.
From the moment we arrived, we loved how relaxed and welcoming the space felt. Held in Fool’s Paradise, it’s the perfect setting for young families to experience Fringe in a calm, family-friendly environment.
Designed especially for kids aged 2–7 (although my 8-year-old still had an absolute ball!), the party is led by professional children’s entertainer Hana Fiesta, who keeps the energy high and the fun flowing. Kids can jump right into the interactive dances and games, or take a break and visit the glitter bar, photo booth or colouring station whenever they need some quiet time.
The whole experience felt flexible and pressure-free, which is perfect for younger children. There were bubbles, prizes, and plenty of giggles, and we loved seeing all the little partygoers dressed up in their unicorn costumes, sparkles and headbands — it really added to the magical atmosphere.
