Are you looking for something with heart, soul, and a great atmosphere that is guaranteed to make you groove? Then History of House:Greatest Hits is the show for you. This production is a brilliant journey through the 1970s to the late 2000s, exploring what house music means to everyone and why it continues to bring people together.

The show features covers by iconic artists including Whitney Houston, Robin S, Calvin Harris, Flo Rida, and many more, all performed in a way that feels refreshing and full of energy. The vibes are high from start to finish, and the engagement is far from low. DJ Groove Terminator knows exactly how to mix music and combine it with the fantastic and mesmerising voices of the South African Soweto Gospel Choir, creating a powerful and uplifting experience.

The lights and colours are a brilliant touch to the night, adding to the overall atmosphere without taking away from the music itself. The dance moves keep the audience moving, and the performers definitely know how to interact with a crowd and make everyone feel like part of the show. Audience members have the choice to either stand or sit, depending on their preferences, but standing is highly recommended to get the full experience and join in with all the fun.

As a big fan of this type of music, hearing these covers was incredibly enjoyable. As DJ Groove Terminator says, “if everyone liked house music, then the world would be a much different place,” and after watching this show, it is hard not to agree. This is one of the best Fringe shows you’ll see and is 100% worth your while.
