Opening with traditional Thai influences, Lady Boys of Bangkok quickly sweeps the audience into a world of colour, precision and charisma.
From the very first moments, the show moves with the grace and style of its performers, unfolding into a high-energy spectacle filled with elegant choreography, humour and just the right amount of cheek. There is a clear passion on stage, not just for performance, but for entertaining the crowd, who are enthusiastically along for the ride
Veterans of the Fringe scene, Lady Boys of Bangkok is one of the producers’ flagship productions, and it shows. A sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the past 25 years, this is a show that knows exactly what it is and delivers it with confidence, polish and flair.
The ensemble dances through iconic artists and eras, from Lady Gaga to Moulin Rouge, Tina Turner, and Beyoncé, alongside crowd-pleasing hits like It’s Raining Men. The quick costume changes are dazzling, the choreography is tight, and the performers bring fire and personality to every number.
For fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race and audiences who love slick production, interactive audience engagement, rapid transitions and unapologetic showmanship, this is a guaranteed good time. Set within the buzzing atmosphere of The Garden of Unearthly Delights, the show feels perfectly at home, bold, celebratory and irresistibly fun.
A joyful, high-impact Fringe favourite that continues to earn its reputation.
