FRINGE REVIEW: BOB MARLEY:HOW REGGAE CHANGED THE WORLD.
17 February - 22 March at The Arch, Holden Street Theatres, Thebarton.
Edinburgh Fringe award-winning artist Duane Forrest returns for the 2026 Adelaide Fringe
Duane is a delightfull story-teller who takes you on a soulful journey through some of Bob Marley's classics whilst explaining how reggae became a universal rhythm of resistance, peace and love and big turning point in his life when he discovered Reggae music.

Duane gently draws you in by inviting you to join him in song whilst sharing an intimate look into his story - from growing up in Toronto, Canada raised by Jamaican parents. living in Government housing, dealing with his ancestory , the dark and light times of identity and colour, the reason why his hair is the way it is and finally discovering who he is through discovering the songs and powerful messages of Bob Marley.

The venue was dimly lit with black and white visuals popping up throughout the performance.

I left this show feeling wonderfully uplifted and to quote Duane and Bob Marley "everything is gonna be alright".  I am feeling pretty happy about that!
