Keep in Touch is one of those Fringe shows that sneaks up on you. You arrive expecting impressive circus (and you absolutely get it), but you leave having had a proper think about how often your phone steals your focus.

Created by Eye Catching Circus for the 2026 Adelaide Fringe, this contemporary circus piece centres around a striking arc-shaped structure that dominates the stage. It becomes a playground, a battleground and a balancing act all in one. Performers climb, teeter and hang  from it with heart-in-mouth precision, particularly during the aerial silk sequences, which drew audible gasps from the crowd.

What surprised us most was the humour. For a show tackling digital disconnection, it is actually really funny. There’s clever comedy threaded throughout, and the audience interaction, especially when volunteers from the crowd were involved, were terrific fun.

The contemporary dance elements, often performed with oversized props, add texture and momentum between the big acrobatic moments. It’s visually polished and physically demanding, and overall a tremendous show from this professional troupe.
