Infamous
Adelaide Fringe – Ellis Park Big Top
Reviewed: 21 February 2026
Walking into the Ellis Park Big Top, you immediately sense that Infamous isn’t your typical circus. The setup is smooth, the energy is electric, and every detail, from seating to crowd flow, feels carefully considered to make the audience part of the experience.
This show is a whirlwind of daring stunts, laugh-out-loud comedy, dance, and high-energy musical moments. Standouts included a wheel-of-death duo that had everyone holding their breath, breathtaking aerials, and a perfectly timed balloon gag that had the tent roaring with laughter. Every performer demonstrates impressive skill and control, making even the most dangerous feats feel effortless.
The two-hour performance (with a short break) flows seamlessly. Each act transitions naturally to the next, with clever lighting, music, and staging keeping the pace brisk while allowing moments to land. It’s thrilling, funny, and constantly engaging.
Audience interaction adds an extra layer of fun. Cabaret-style seating at the front brings spectators close to the action, and the performers’ playful engagement feels spontaneous and natural. The Big Top itself is a fantastic venue, spacious, comfortable, with a great bar, and thoughtful amenities that make attending the show hassle-free.
Infamous is bold, exciting, and endlessly entertaining. From start to finish, it captivates, surprises, and leaves you grinning.
Verdict: A high-octane, immersive circus experience that hits every mark.
