Silly science needs to be a new Fringe category next year, and if it is, the crew from That Science Gang will be at the top of the list. Splish Splash Science is a lively, laugh-filled show packed with audience participation, water experiments and plenty of splashy surprises.
From the moment the show begins, kids are drawn straight into the action. There are constant opportunities to get involved, and the mix of comedy, singing, dancing and water-filled chaos keeps the energy high throughout. The whole crowd was laughing, and at several points ducking for cover at the same time.
Alongside all the silliness are clever little educational snippets woven into the show with plenty of interesting facts and ideas they will happily take back to school without even realising they have been learning.
This show is a bucket of laughs, a splash of science and a whole lot of watery fun. A fantastic Fringe pick for families, especially on a hot Adelaide day when a little extra splash factor is very welcome.
